Who am I?

Trained and accredited in Belgium and in France, I have been practicing as in independent mediator in English and French for more than 7 years.

This mediation activity is part of a continuum of over 20 years of experience in management positions within the legal field, in corporate environments, and in international organizations. This background has provided me with solid experience in conflict management in complex and multicultural settings.

Since 2024, I have been a mediator at the Council of Europe, where I work on developing a dialogue-based culture and promoting a non-adversarial approach to disputes, with the aim of fostering workplace well-being.

I support you in developing a genuine culture of dialogue and conflict prevention within your organization.

Whether you are a company, an association, or an institution, regardless of your size or sector, I assess the relational health of your organisation and suggest the most suitable approach to improve it.

In addition to conflict prevention and resolution through mediation, I provide training sessions and workshops on psychosocial risk prevention and amicable conflict resolution. I work alone or in co-mediation, depending on the requirements of the situation.

Prévention

The best way to manage conflicts is to take care to the situation before it escalates. My mediation awareness workshops are an effective tool for preventing workplace distress.

Mediations

Unmanaged conflicts represent a significant cost for organizations. I intervene to restore dialogue and help teams successfully overcome situations that harm both efficiency and the workplace atmosphere.

My goal is to help you develop autonomy in managing conflict situations by intervening directly in your environment to tailor my services to your needs.

"This is the essential skill of the mediator: guiding each person to evolve in their beliefs and judgments, so that a shift in perspective about the situation can be initiated.

Such change is only possible if each side can see what they have to gain from this shift — yet those involved in a conflict are often deeply convinced that any compromise would equal to losing.

By focusing on each person's fundamental needs and expectations, the mediator can identify common grounds. Before even thinking about "solutions," everyone is capable of recognizing that the other party has needs that are compatible with their own — starting with the shared desire to break free from the deadlock created by the conflict."

From understanding needs to meeting expectations

Caught in a conflict, each person believes they hold the truth and sees the other as responsible for the situation. As a result, there are as many "truths" as there are parties involved in the conflict.

Why turn to mediation ?

Workplace mediation has numerous benefits to offer:

Mediation aims at enabling individuals in conflict to reach a tailored amicable agreement with the help of an independent, neutral, and impartial third party.

The mediator's role is to facilitate discussions by following a structured process designed to foster the emergence of a solution that meets everyone's needs — a solution that the parties themselves will have developed.
